Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She hosts the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive spikey blonde locks and pump up personality, explains easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell has worked at New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine practices and the environment. She also competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. Burrell, who grew up in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. After earning an English and Communications degree from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her passion for the business of restaurant by enroling as a student at The Culinary Institute of America. I enjoyed every moment during my time of The Culinary Institute of America she says. Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic opportunity to pursue a degree. Following her graduation, Chef Burrell was able to spend a full period of time in Italy studying at Italy's Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. The time she spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture which has had an impression on her perception of food. Burrell was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve the lives of kids facing difficulties. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador which promotes awareness of children with diabetes. Burrell speaks on her culinary passion and shares her expertise in the culinary world when she goes on trips across the USA in various roles such as mentors and speakers. Anne always felt fortunate that she could share the passion that she had for sharing her cooking skills with other people.
