Genesis Rodriguez was conceived in Miami, Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez, the famous Venezuelan actor and singer, and Carolina Perez, a Cuban model. There are two half-sisters to her. She was a student at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart, Miami. Rodriguez knew as a child she wanted to be an actor. She took summer classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and continued her acting training. She was successful and won roles in Spanish languages, such as Prisionera (2004), Dame Chocolate (2007) and Dona Barbara (2008). She also appeared as Sarah on the hit TV show "Entourage" (2004). Film projects include Man on a Ledge (2012) and What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012). Daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister to Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth Morillo. She revealed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, 9 January episode, that she was named Genesis in honor of the British rock group Genesis. She is is Cuban and Venezuelan ancestral ancestry. It's incredible to be near the ocean. I'd like to submit my resume to NBA.com If this acting thing doesn’t work. I'm a huge basketball fan . . . I'll talk about all kinds of trash. I think I'm an emerging generation of Latinos, bicultural and bilingual. I'm aware that I cannot eat whatever I like or even look at what I like. It's a struggle to fight to achieve it. I am thankful to Pilates as well as my parents' good genes. One of the greatest bonding experiences is making the fool of yourself, and then posting it online. I love people who dare to be risky. People who take risks on the carpet are my favourite. I really like Charlize Theron. She's elegant and stylish I believe. I love Zoe Saldana.
