in Los Angeles on September 20 1970. After the birth of her daughter, her
parents relocated to Dallas, Texas. She was educated at Booker T. Washington
High School for the Performing and Visual Arts located in the Arts District of
downtown Dallas. Later, she earned a BFA diploma in acting from Stephens
College and also studied at the British American Drama Academy. She worked for
six years at Dallas Theatre Center as well as a single year with Encore
Company. Before her big screen debut, she started her acting career through
theaters. Her theatrical stage credits include productions like "As You
Like It", "A Funny Thing happened on the way to the Forum",
"Measure for Measure", "Baby" and "Chicago",
among numerous others. Her most memorable performance came in Michael
Cristofer's HBO TV series Gia (1998) with Angelina Jolie. She made her name
famous for both viewers and critics. After that, she starred in the sci-fi time
travel adventure, Frequency (2000) featuring Dennis Quaid and Neil LaBute's
much-anticipated Nurse Betty (2000) opposite Renee Zellweger, Elizabeth showed
her charismatic acting talents. Elizabeth Mitchell is an actor with numerous
credits, which include films, television series and theaters. When she was the
