Thora Birch

Thora Birch was born March 11 on 1982. She is an American actor, producer and director. Her first film role was in Purple People Eater (1988) and was the recipient of the Young Artist Award for "Best Young Artistress Under Nine Years of age". Birch became a star as an infant and was featured in films like All I Want for Christmas (1991), Patriot Games (92), Hocus Pocus (93), Monkey Trouble (1994), Now and Then (1995) and Alaska (1996). In 1999 she was nominated to receive a BAFTA nomination. In 2001, she won for Best Actress for Ghost World. Birch received an Emmy Award for her performance in Homeless to Harvard The Liz Murray Story in 2003. Her other films include Dungeons & Dragons (2000), The Hole (2001), Silver City (2004), Dark Corners (2006), Winter of Frozen Dreams (2009), and Petunia (2012).After taking off from acting, Birch was back in the spotlight in 2016 and has since been in a number of independent films. Birch was also the Whisperer Mary/Gamma during the season 10 episode of The Walking Dead (2019-202). Birch was Jack Birch's eldest son was born in Los Angeles. Birch was born into a family that originally included the surname Biersch is German-Jewish, and Scandinavian. Birch also has French-Canadian, French, and Italian ancestral roots. [6] Her name, Thora, is derived from that of Norse god of lightning and thunder "Thor", which would have been her name, were she a boy. Kian Bolt Birch who is her younger brother, is also her mother. Both of them were adult film actors and have been in Deep Throat. They were not keen to support Thora due to their previous experience in the entertainment business. However, a babysitter noticed Thora imitating commercials and got them to show Thora's image to agents. Birch was four years old when she received her first major break when the babysitter invited her on a audition for the Quaker Oats advertisement.
