Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9th 1973, died in 1972) is an American actress. She has played the roles as Emily Ann Sago on the television show All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV show The Tick as well as Wendy Simms on the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Nikki Beaumont is the web show Nikki & Nora. Vassey was a teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap opera All My Children from 1988 until 1991. Vassey was a frequent actor on the TV show Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005 as the character Dr. Carrie Allen. The episode "The Last Thing You Want is to Get a Hump" in 2003, she was in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011) as well as in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season premiere starring Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 to 2010 Vassey had a recurring role as Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Vassey was elevated from a regular cast member to the Wendy Simms character during the tenth season. She also began appearing in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1, 2010 that Vassey did not plan to return for the show's eleventh season. Vassey was guest in one episode of the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, with co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company known as Neurosis to create a T(ee) which produces and sells slogan-covered t-shirts for women. The slogans make fun of female anxieties and fears. They typically refer to relationships.
