Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka Chopra was born in Jamshedpur, India on July 18, 1982. Chopra was in high school when she won Miss India. She then was crowned the 2000 Miss World pageant. After that international success, Chopra decided to pursue the field of film and became an established actor in Bollywood. American television helped her become an instant star with Quantico The FBI drama that aired from 2015-2018. Also, she made headlines due to her wedding to Nick Jonas in December 2018. Her debut Bollywood film The Hero - Love Story of a Spy was released in 2003. Also, she was in Andaaz the same year, which debuted the film industry with a series of films like Plan, Kismat and Asambhav. The films did not do well at the box office , Chopra was successful in her romantic comedy Mujhse Karogi. At the age 20, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed it the same year with Jeet born to Win. Her debut film, Chopra was clear: "I disliked it!" she has said. "I wanted to quit the industry after I had done it!" I was not sure of what I was saying or doing." The actress and singer-actor Nick Jonas went public with their relationship in the summer of 2018. The news of their engagement broke in the latter part of July, and Jonas reported to have popped the question on Chopra's 36th birthday. They tied the knot in an extravagant, multi-day affair that began on December 1st, 2018.
