Linda began her radio career as a sports anchor at WAL-AM in New York, a station. She was there for four years until she graduated with a bachelorette degree. Then, in 1988 the sports anchor got her first TV break following her appointment by the Sports Channel America.Later in 1989, she hosted a call-in radio sports show in New York. After working with Sports Channel America, she was an anchor for sports for KIRO-TV in Seattle, Washington. Linda was married to Stew Kaufman in the year 1980. She was still a SUNY student at Oswego when she tied the knot with Stew Kaufman. The couple welcomed their new daughter, named Sammy Kaufman and a baby boy named Daniel Kaufman. They lived as a tiny family that was happy and loving.
